In some cases, simple lifestyle changes, such as avoiding hard foods, may be enough to relieve the symptoms. If the problem is more severe, we may recommend splint therapy, which is a mouthguard-like device that is worn at night to protect the teeth and jaw joint. In severe cases, surgery may be recommended.
