What can I expect from the process of getting porcelain veneers?
To create and place porcelain veneers, patients will need to make two appointments. During the first appointment, the patient consults with Dr. Jameela Jifri and her team to determine if they are proper candidates for this or alternative options. If patients choose to move forward with veneers, a thin portion of the front of the natural tooth is removed before impressions are created. This provides a mould to create the veneer and ensure a proper fit. Patients will return to the office when the veneer is completed, typically within a week or two, to have it bonded in place permanently.
